License
Medlet is developed and published by Matvey Pirogov and licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add details about Medlet and Medlet Pro. If they conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails.
What Medlet is — and isn’t
- Medlet is an organizer for the medicines you keep at home. It stores what you enter or what is read from a pack, sorts it onto shelves and lets you search it.
- Medlet is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it does not recommend medicines or doses. Search shows the medicines in your cabinet whose pack information matches what you typed; it does not rank them or tell you what to take.
- Always read the leaflet before using a medicine. If in doubt, ask a pharmacist or doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 911 in the US).
Your information and AI reading
- You are responsible for the information in your cabinet. Information read by AI can contain mistakes: check the name, strength and expiry date against the pack before you rely on them. The expiry date is always yours to confirm.
- AI reading of packs is optional and works only with your consent, as described in the Privacy Policy. Photograph only the pack — not prescriptions, documents or people.
- AI reading depends on our server and on Google’s service. It may sometimes be unavailable. To protect the service from abuse, every installation has a fair-use limit far above household use, also with Pro: currently 300 AI scans a month. The code on the pack and manual entry work without it.
Medlet Pro
- Medlet is free to download. The free version has limits that the app shows, for example on the number of packs, AI scans per month, places and family members. Medlet Pro removes these limits and unlocks the features marked Pro in the app. The app shows what Pro includes before you buy.
- Pro is sold as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and are charged by Apple to your Apple Account.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions; access continues until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Free trials and introductory prices. If an offer includes a free trial, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then. If an offer has a discounted first period, the regular price applies from the second period. The app shows the exact dates and amounts before you confirm.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies: reportaproblem.apple.com.
- We may change prices for future periods; Apple informs subscribers of price increases as required.
- Medlet was previously called PillKit. If you subscribed to PillKit Pro, your subscription continues and unlocks Medlet Pro.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Medlet is provided “as is” and we are not liable for losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
