Questions, problems or ideas — write to us.
We answer in English, Deutsch, Français, Español and Italiano, usually within two working days.
Reporting a problem
To help us fix it faster, please include:
- your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About);
- the Medlet version (Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Medlet);
- what you did, what you expected and what happened instead;
- a screenshot or a screen recording, if you can.
Please don’t send photos of prescriptions, documents or anything with your name on it. If a pack was read wrong, it’s enough to tell us what the pack says and what Medlet filled in.

Does Medlet tell me what to take?
No. Medlet is an organizer: it keeps a list of the medicines you already have and shows what’s printed on their packs. It doesn’t diagnose, recommend medicines or suggest doses, and search results are never ranked as “best for” anything.
Always read the leaflet, and if in doubt, ask a pharmacist or doctor. In an emergency, call 112 in the EU or 911 in the US.
I used PillKit. How do I move my data?
You don’t need to do anything: Medlet is the new name of PillKit, starting with version 2.0. Update the app from the App Store and open it. Your medicines, cabinets, settings and photos move over on your iPhone the first time you open Medlet — no internet needed. An active PillKit Pro subscription keeps working; if Pro doesn’t show up, tap Settings → Restore purchases.
If something is missing after the update, please don’t delete the app — your PillKit data stays on your iPhone as a backup. Write to us and we’ll help.
Medlet speaks English, German, French, Spanish and Italian and follows your iPhone’s language. If you used PillKit in another language, Medlet uses your iPhone’s language when it can, otherwise English.
What happens to the photo when AI reads a pack?
Before your first AI scan, Medlet asks for your consent. If you agree, the photo of the pack — resized and without location or other photo metadata — goes through our server in the EU to Google Gemini, which reads the name, strength, pack size, expiry date and what the pack says the medicine is for. We don’t store the photo on our server; your copy stays in Medlet on your iPhone.
Photograph only the pack — no prescriptions, documents or faces. You can switch AI reading off at any time in Settings → Privacy; the code on the pack and manual entry keep working. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
AI read something wrong. What should I do?
Treat AI reading as a draft. Before you put a pack on the shelf, compare the name, strength and expiry date with the pack. An expiry date read by AI is marked “check”; one read from the code on the pack is marked “from code”.
You can fix anything later: open the medicine and tap Edit, or tap a pack in the card to change its count, expiry date or place.
Search doesn’t find a medicine by what it’s for
Search looks at what the pack says the medicine is used for (“Used for” in the card), and at names, brands and active ingredients. If a use is missing, open the medicine, tap Edit and add it. Medlet only shows medicines from your own cabinet — it doesn’t suggest others.
Where is my data, and how do I delete it?
Your cabinet — medicines, packs, photos and settings — is stored only on your iPhone. It’s included in your iCloud or computer backups, depending on your backup settings. We don’t receive it.
- To delete a medicine: open it, tap Edit, then Delete medicine.
- To delete one pack: tap the pack in the medicine’s card, then Delete pack.
- To delete everything: delete the app from your iPhone.
Usage analytics and crash reports can be switched off in Settings → Privacy. To access or delete the analytics, crash or purchase data we or our services hold, write to medlet@pirog.app. More in the Privacy Policy.
Medlet Pro
How do I restore Pro on a new iPhone?
Sign in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you used to buy Pro. Then open Medlet, tap the gear at the top of your cabinet to open Settings, and tap Restore purchases. You can also tap Restore on any Pro screen.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, find Medlet (formerly PillKit) and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Payments and refunds are handled by Apple, so we can’t issue refunds ourselves. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com: sign in with your Apple Account, choose “Request a refund” and select the Medlet purchase.
